Employing a resident company of 31 actors, Tallinn City Theatre is known for great ensemble acting and imaginative productions. Since 1992, the theatre has been led by artistic director Elmo Nüganen and general manager Raivo Põldmaa. The repertory includes both classics and contemporary plays from Estonia and the whole world. Biennially in December, Tallinn City Theatre organizes the Midwinter Night’s Dream International Theatre Festival.
