KOKO architects awarded with BRUNO – best design project at Estonian Design Awards.
KOKO Architects won the BRUNO award for best design project in 2012 for the graphic design of the Seaplane Harbour permanent exhibition room, design management and design of exhibits. The international jury /Per Mollerup, Tapio Anttila, Adam von Haffner Paulsen, Fabien Cappello, August Kull/ evaluated the nominees based mainly on the criteria of user-friendliness, innovation, ergonomics, aesthetics and environmental friendliness.
BRUNO is an Estonian design award which has been given out by the Estonian Association of Designers since 2006. The award got its name from Bruno Tomberg, founder of design department in the Academy of Arts. The aim of the awards is to highlight the role of the designer in the society and demonstrate that design has the potential to create a more humane living environment and enhance competitiveness.
